We believe that each building design should be a unique response to the site, its required function and the local context. We have no standard "off the shelf" building design which would respond to this particular site, programme and location.
Above all, the final building should provide a working environment that is enjoyable to use for both the Staff and Patients. It should endure and maintain its function and appearance for a considerable time, with a style that does not prematurely date. In short, it should be a classically stylish building that works and gives pleasure to all.
To help us design the building, we draw users into the design process, taking great care to listen to our clients' design aspirations, and we believe that they should continue to be fully engaged throughout this iterative process. Healthcare building design frequently involves complex concepts which are difficult to measure and evaluate and we firmly adhere to BREEAM Excellent guidelines. By involving all key stakeholders and users, we will identify areas that require further development well before final design is agreed.
Quality professional design services are ensured through partnerships with a select panel of some of the leading Architects, Engineers and other Specialists, all with extensive experience in healthcare.
